Sometimes, I’m a bit thick. I mean, really, do I need a book with embroidery designs? Rarely do they give you what colors or specific stitches you should use in the design. I have to trace it to my fabric anyway. So, why not get a book on flowers, garden design, and so forth from the library and trace that? Or what about this:

Coloring book pages, not the insipid princesses, but like the one I linked to. Isn’t that cool? I’ve actually thought it would be pretty as a quilting design for a finished top.

So the message for today: think outside the box. And pay less.
